Stratford Municipal Airport is situated on a 482-acre parcel of land in the Township of North Easthope, County of Perth, about 6-km northeast of the City of Stratford.

The airport was expanded to better serve the needs of the business community as well as visitors to Stratford.

Stratford's airport boasts modern runways and state-of-the-art facilities. The airport is equipped to handle air traffic ranging from Dash 8s to helicopters.

A flight school is also available.

1964 The airport was developed privately for aircraft operation.
1970's The City of Stratford recognized the importance of a municipally owned airport. With the cooperation of the Federal and Provincial governments the airport was purchased by the city.
1988 A major redevelopment of the Airport began. This project included construction of runway 05/23. Over the next several years a new terminal, building maintenance shed, private hanger development, fuel system, expanded apron and upgrade to runway 17/35 was completed.
